Intracranial vascular disease

Intracranial vascular disease (or stenosis) is thought to account for about 10 percent of all strokes and transient ischemic attacks (TIAs).It is a narrowing of any arteries at the base of the skull or inside the brain. Symptoms of intracranial vascular disease may include momentary loss of vision in one eye,weakness or numbness on one side of the body,and language problems,such as slurred speech,inability to get words out or gibberish speech.

Our Intracranial Vascular System runs from the femoral arteries to the pericallosals and M2,and A2 segments,and includes six aneurysms of varying sizes.The left and right vertebrals are customized to simulate both a young and mature adult.

This anatomically accurate vessel is designed to replicate interventional scenarios for training physicians and product development via an intricate network of vasculature.

Stabilizing platforms and adjustable straps to secure the vessel for anatomical flexibility.

Product details

Material: silicone

The vessel pictured was flled with blood-mimicking fluid for easy viewing.We commonly produce aortic, cerebral, and peripheral aneurysms with either fusiform or saccular shapes. The sizes of our aneurysms vary between berry and giant.
